The 24 x 36mm sensor captures full-frame 6K video at a native 6048 x 4032 resolution with a 13-stop dynamic range and dual-native ISO at 400 and 3200, expandable up to 25,600, delivering rich color, accurate skin tones, and clean imagery across a wide range of lighting conditions.
Versatile Shooting Formats & Frame Rates
The PYXIS 6K supports a broad range of resolutions and frame rates, including 6048 x 4032 Open Gate 3:2 up to 36 fps, 4832 x 4032 Anamorphic 6:5 up to 36 fps, 6048 x 2520 (6K 2.4:1) up to 60 fps, and 1920 x 1080 up to 120 fps making it adaptable across narrative, commercial, and documentary productions.
Simultaneous RAW & Proxy Recording
The camera records Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy files simultaneously to dual CFexpress Type-B card slots or via a USB-C expansion port, streamlining post-production workflows with high-quality masters and lightweight files ready for immediate editing or sharing.
Built-In Live Streaming via Ethernet or 4G/5G
The PYXIS includes built-in live streaming capability over Ethernet or supported 4G/5G modems, with support for SRT and RTMP protocols compatible with platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and custom RTMP destinations, all without requiring external hardware.
